Verily:  In Truth

Verily, meaning “in truth”, is the name Janet Cline was given by the Lord many years ago.  Jan uses verily as her pseudonym for art, music and writing.

Jan considers herself a Renaissance woman. The word is French, meaning rebirth. She has dedicated her creative work to be heard and viewed for the glory of God. An artist and musician from age 3, she believes each one needs to find and use their gifts.  Her studio gallery has  lessons for all ages. She has always loved hearing the word of God being shared in song.

Music: One of Jan's spiritual gifts flows in writing psalms and spiritual songs. Over the years she has written more than 75 scripture based songs. Her music is recorded in many styles from Classical to Country to Contemporary; even Celtic. Sometimes she will take the words directly or put them in rhyme from the Bible. Many times, she is given a message to go along with a selection of verses. She also is anointed to lead and teach praise and worship. Many church groups have had her come to share about enjoying a lifestyle of worship.

Art: As an artist, Jan wants to communicate the beauty of nature and the peace of God. Jan loves to work in different media such as colored pencil, pastel and acrylic. Recently she has combined all three into collages to help her add textures and details. She has won many awards for her efforts across Iowa and Nebraska.

Writing: Jan will soon finish a devotional that goes with her second album “Midnight Song” and is working on some books on end-time prophecy that teach a fresh perspective on some controversial subjects.
